All doctoral and masters courses are taught in each on-campus session in Orange Park, Florida. Pre and post-course requirements are completed via distance education technology, including e-mail, discussion boards and the virtual classroom (Moodle: a course management system) available on this Web site. The course instructors are responsible for mentoring students through the completion of each course.

After the course requirements have been fulfilled, the doctoral student attends the thesis course and writes a thesis.

While accomplishing the course requirements for the masters program, the masters students complete a supervised ministry. An addition week of attendance in Florida is not required for this fifth and final phase of the masters program.

The typical two-year course of study may be pursued over four years.

Non-Degree Program: Qualified students who hold a master’s degree may enroll in the D.W.S. Advanced Program as non-degree students.  Upon successful completion of the four core courses they will receive and Advanced Graduate Certificate of Worship Studies (A.G.C.W.S.) without having to take the Thesis/Project course.
